A first congress on straw construction will be held soon
The French network of straw construction (RFCP) invites construction stakeholders to meet for its first congress on straw construction. The event will be held from February 9 to 11, 2023 at the National School of Engineers (ENSI) in Poitiers. Sector professionals, contractors and public and private contractors are invited to these three days dedicated to biosourced materials. On the program, time for discussions, feedback but also an update on the regulatory and insurance context. “Straw is technically essential today, as an essential solution that responds to societal challenges and the objectives of public policies in environmental matters.“, wants to remind the RFCP in a press release.
Created in 2006, the RFCP is an association that brings together the main players in straw construction around the enhancement and development of straw material. It brings together six regional sectors, three sectors in the process of being structured, 800 members and more than 4,000 trained professionals. In total, 65 training organizations providing “pro-straw” training in France.
