A made in Loire fair on the Beer Marathon – Le Journal des Entreprises
On May 27, 28 and 29, Montbrison hosts the first edition of the Marathon de la Bière. Co-organized by 4 sporting friends from the Loire, the event which has already won over 1,900 registrants (2,500 are expected on the starting line), will offer 13 refueling points during which runners will be able to taste beers from 14 local breweries. The event will also be an opportunity to discover the first “Salon du Made in Loire”. A lounge, open to all, that runners must pass through to pick up their bib. This show will showcase some thirty local companies ranging from essential sports socks B.V. Sport To Ferriol Matratwhich will present its special marathon Joëlette passing through the 14 local breweries, Café Chapuis, Les Délices Foréziens, the Pralus House and many other local gastronomy products such as Spirulina du Forez, Verbena du Forez or La Bouchée d’escargots. Already turned towards the next edition, the organizers aim to grow this “Salon du Made in Loire”, which contributes to the economic balance of the event whose budget this year will exceed 100,000 euros.
