A successful first half for the Poujoulat group – Le Journal des Entreprises
In its latest half-yearly financial report, the Poujoulat group based in Saint-Symphorien (Deux-Sèvres) and specialist in chimney flues and wood energy reports a “very marked improvement” in profitability. Its half-yearly revenue stood at €168 million between April 1 and September 30 (compared to €128 million in 2021). Net income reached 12.66 million euros, or 7.5% of turnover compared to 3.7% in the first half of the previous financial year. In its financial communication, the group reports a performance “above that of the market”. While noting an increase in the volumes marketed (particularly in wood energy) and good performance internationally, he stresses that “the ‘price’ effect accounted for a third of the growth in activity”. Finally, on the outlook side, he expects growth of more than 30% over the current financial year, with “consolidated turnover approaching 400 million euros”.
