Abanca will pay a dividend of 0.0136 euros per share on February 2.
The Board of Directors of Abanca agreed to pay a fourth dividend due to profits for the financial year 202230,486,800 gross, to shareholders who will be shareholders at 11:59 p.m. on January 30, 2023 (Ex Date 01/31), on the basis of 0.01360 EUR gross per sharenet of own shares, as declared by the company to the CNMV (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores).
Actual payment will be made on next Thursday February 2, 2023subject to the legally applicable withholding tax (19%) on the gross amount, if applicable.
The aforementioned agreement has also been notified to the company. Cecabankwho is responsible for keeping the accounting register for dematerialized securities, who has been appointed dividend paying agentfor the purposes provided for in Royal Decree 878/2015, of October 2, on the clearing, settlement and registration of securities represented by book entries, the legal regime of central securities depositories and central counterparties and transparency requirements for issuers of securities admitted to trading on an official secondary market,” the company notified.
Abanca obtained in 2022 a a profit of 217 million euros217 million, an increase of 40.7% on a recurring basis compared to the previous year, thanks to the good commercial performance and control of the cost of credit.
