Aérocampus Aquitaine signs a new partnership with Safran Helicopter Engines – Le Journal des Entreprises
On February 8, the aeronautics and space training campus Aerocampus Aquitaine based in Latresnes (Gironde) and which trains approximately 300 students per year, has signed a new partnership with engine manufacturer Safran Helicopter Engines (formerly Turbomeca), specialist in helicopter engines based in Bordes (Pyrénées-Atlantiques). “This partnership was desired by the President of the Regional Council, Alain Rousset. It is part of our strategy presented last May, which aims to strengthen and intensify existing partnerships with manufacturers”, explains Anne-Catherine GuitardCEO of Aérocampus Aquitaine since March 2022. In fact, since September, Aérocampus has signed several new partnerships (Airbus, Ariane Group) and renewing former staff (Sabena Technics). The objectives of the one signed with Safran are based on making technical platforms and seminar spaces on the Girondin campus available to the industrialist, in particular for its DMAE (Aeronautical Maintenance Department) staff, strengthening its internship offer, provision (donation or loan) of teaching materials and cross-training of trainers.
