Antargaz and the Lot-et-Garonne group Weck set up a joint venture in Bordeaux – Le Journal des Entreprises
After a first strategic partnership started in 2021, the Weck family group (260 employees, 80 M€ turnover in 2021), based in Marmande (Lot-et-Garonne) and specialist in energy renovation and Antargaz Énergies, a subsidiary of the eponymous group working in the distribution of liquid gases, announce the creation of a joint venture. Called Wekan, it is based in Bordeaux (Gironde) and “supports professionals and communities in reducing their energy consumption”. Relying on three design offices, it offers “energy efficiency solutions to improve the performance of buildings”, specifies a press release. Wekan aims to become the leader in its market within 5 years and plans to offer around 2,000 services per year, ranging from simple diagnostics to full support (audits, multi-year master plan for reducing consumption, project management monitoring, etc.). “Thanks to our complementarity, we are going to offer global, turnkey offers in the support of the tertiary decree and the energy renovation of the buildings of our professional customers to identify, implement and finance energy saving solutions”, adds Christophe Weck, CEO of the eponymous group.
