Bpifrance in Brittany has financed 27,700 companies in ten years – Le Journal des Entreprises
27,700. This is the number of companies financed in Brittany by Bpifrance over the past ten years, for an amount of 9 billion euros. This figure was revealed during the presentation of the 2022 activity report of the public investment bank in Brittany, on April 5, at Design Parquet in Torcé (Ille-et-Vilaine). In a context of recovery, and with priority support for industry, technological innovation and energy transition, Bpifrance wants to continue to play a leading role in supporting local economic players. “We finance factories, we give guarantees, we provide equity. […] We are not excluding any sector of activity”, sums up Tanguy Roudaut, new regional director Bpifrance Bretagne. In 2022, the bank supported 3,573 companies with €914 million, making it possible to mobilize €2.4 billion in public and private financing. Despite reduced margins for manufacturers due to high energy prices, the manager is confident for 2023. “The projects do not stop. Breton companies are moving forward”, he assured in front of Nicolas Dufourcq, Managing Director of Bpifrance, who came to discover the Vitrean industrial model.
