Bretagne Pôle Naval labels five candidates for the construction of the South Brittany wind farm – Le Journal des Entreprises

The Bretagne Pôle Naval industrial cluster has announced the winners of its Breizh Content label among the contenders for the State call for tenders for the floating wind farm in southern Brittany, off Groix-Belle-Ile. The label, a trademark registered in early 2022 by BPN, follows the approach proposed by the cluster allowing candidates to better understand the Breton industrial fabric in terms of capacity and/or desire to contribute to the construction and construction of the wind farm. 9 of the 10 candidates selected by the State to participate in this call for tenders followed the support of BPN, for seven months, and thus received the mapping of the companies in the territory holding the expertise and the means to work on the different lots for both studies and construction, but also maintenance and deconstruction. The five labeled companies are Iberdrola, RWE, EDF and Mapple Power, Elicio and Baywa RE, as well as Skyborn Renewable, Vattenfal and Blue Float. Via this label, these five consortia underline their desire to “set up and develop means of construction of wind turbine floats on the Brest polder and an operating and maintenance base on the port of Lorient”.
