Change of management within the Carola-Wattwiller mineral waters – Le Journal des Entreprises

Managing Director of Carola-Wattwiller since November 2016, Valérie Siegler is taking on new roles within the Belgian group Spadel, owner of these Alsatian brands of mineral water (Turnover: €267 million; 1,263 employees). She became brand, innovation and sustainable development director for the group. The manager qualifies this change of position as “a new personal course which has no impact on the organization of the two local sources. If my mission is now refocusing on brands, innovation and sustainable development at Spadel, the management team in place at Ribeauvillé remains unchanged”. Valérie Siegler will take charge of her new assignments from Alsace and Bart Peeters has been appointed Managing Director Carola-Wattwiller. He previously held the position of Benelux Director at Spadel.
The two Haut-Rhin water brands employ 100 people. In 2021, 117 million liters were sold for a turnover of 30 million euros. At the end of 2022, Carola sparkling water recorded sales growth in volume of 18%.
