Driven by inflation, the 2022 market for shutters and doors grew
Professionals in shutters, closures and automation have reason to be satisfied: all of their sectors – except for interior blinds – saw their markets total 3.1 billion euros in 2022. A fine performance for equipment often manufactured in France and thus confirm the positive trend of recent years.
In detail by segment, shutters have the largest share of overall turnover in the sector (excluding installation), with 1.76 billion euros, up 12% compared to 2021. Blinds follow. with 783 million euros, doors and gates with 430 million, and automatic pedestrian doors with 120 million. These figures, presented today by the Actibaie group, attached to the French Building Federation (FFB) and which brings together professionals in doors, gates, shutters and blinds, can nevertheless be explained by various factors.
