€65.2 million more for the urban renewal of the Mulhouse agglomeration – Le Journal des Entreprises
The National Urban Renewal Agency (ANRU) will pay an additional fund of €65.2 million to Mulhouse Alsace agglomeration (m2A) to develop neighborhoods listed in the NPNRU (New National Program for Urban Renewal) “Vision 2030”. This project aims to transform and rebalance the territories of the agglomeration in the areas of the environment, attractiveness and solidarity. In 2020, the ANRU had already supported the urban renewal component of “Vision 2030” with a grant of €101.7 million for four districts: Péricentre in Mulhouse, Drouot-Jonquilles in Mulhouse and Illzach, Markstein-La Forêt in Wittenheim and Hillsides in Mulhouse. The latter is the main concerned by the additional support, subsidized to the tune of €61.7 million, the rest being topped up in the form of loans. It is a question of “moving the entire eastern part of the district from a logic of a large ensemble to that of an urban village”. The amendment will be signed in mid-2023.
