Ecotree replants in the Ruaudin forest thanks to 250,000 euros collected from companies – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire

The Brest forest management company EcoTree raised €250,000 from companies: Acer, Enedis, logistics provider DPD, Financière Laperche, and event company Creative Spirit. These funds now make it possible to replant trees in the Ruaudin forest, which was almost completely destroyed during the summer of 2022. The fire had ravaged more than 300 hectares, which represents the largest fire ever recorded in Sarthe. After a phase of shredding and cleaning during the winter, EcoTree is now proceeding, in partnership with the local company Guillier, with the manual planting of more than 50,000 new trees, hardwoods and softwoods, in the Bois des Bondes, in this forest of Ruaudin.
