Emagina raises 1.3 million euros – Le Journal des Entreprises

Imagine, a start-up from Bordeaux, has just completed a fundraising of 1.3 million euros with the Medevice Capital fund and Business Angels specializing in the medical field. Created in 2021, it designed an inflatable vaginal balloon, a patented medical device connected to an application to help pregnant women prepare their perineum for childbirth. These funds will enable it to “finance the next stages of its development, from clinical investigation to industrialization”, it specifies in a press release. It plans to launch a first European clinical study in 2023.
