Galileo Global Education sets up a management campus in Bois-Guillaume – Le Journal des Entreprises
Based in Paris where it was created 22 years ago, Galileo Global Education is preparing to open two schools in Normandy. The new campus on the northern plateau of Rouen (Bois-Guillaume) will bring together 200 students from the start of the 2023 school year, and aims for a thousand students within five years, indicates Alain Kruger, the director of its management division.
Opening of two schools
Two schools will therefore open their doors on the new campus located in the immediate vicinity of the Cité de l’Agriculture and close to the Vatine and Ronce tertiary business parks. On the one hand, the ESG, a business school created in the seventies and established in ten cities, which clearly displays “the objective of professionalizing its students”. It will bring together around fifty students for courses of 3 years (bachelors) or 5 years (masters) in all areas of business management. “Most of the training provided by the ESG delivers RNCP certified titles confirming the professionalizing axis of the group”, underlines its leaders who target “75% of the workforce taking the alternating path”.
The other school of the Galileo group which will open its doors in Bois-Guillaume in September is the Esarc, specializing in the preparation of the bac + 2 for the Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS) in the tertiary sector. Operational commercial management, and negotiation and digitization of the customer relationship are the two training courses on the menu of the first class in Rouen. All the training courses of the two schools can be carried out alternately.
A 1,800 m² campus
The students of these two entities will be welcomed on a campus covering 1,800 m² on 3 levels “designed as a real center of life with in particular the development of convivial spaces” 15 minutes from the center of Rouen. Some 2 million euros, of which three-quarters in the renovation of buildings, have been invested in this establishment, accompanied since February 2022 by the attractiveness agency Rouen Normandy Invest.
Chaired by Marc-François Mignot Mahon, the higher education group Galileo Global Education trains 210,000 students across 106 campuses in 18 countries. The group is present in the fields of artistic creation (Iesa), management (Paris School of Business, ESG) and health (Eva health).
