Giovanni Abruzzini is appointed Chairman and CEO of Virbac North America – Le Journal des Entreprises

The Virbac animal health laboratory (5,400 employees worldwide, 2022 sales: €1.2 billion), based in Carros, announces the arrival of Giovanni Abruzzini as Chairman and CEO of Virbac North America. Drawing on his experience with the global health group Johnson & Johnson, where he spent 26 years, notably as regional manager for Northern Europe, general manager for the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Nordic countries, director global franchise and marketing director for Italy, France, Sweden and the United States, his mission is to gain market share and visibility in the North American market, both in the the companion animal market (including pet food) and the farm animal health market.
