Hermès inaugurates a new leather goods store in Louviers – Le Journal des Entreprises
The luxury giant Hermès is expanding in Normandy with the opening of a leather goods store in Louviers in the Eure. Second site of the Norman pole of Hermès, the leather goods of Louviers will welcome 260 craftsmen trained within the Hermès school of know-how of Louviers, Apprentice training center (CFA) approved by the National Education which issues the CAP Leather goods. This factory also has a saddlery workshop dedicated to horse riding, historically located at 24, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, in Paris. This is the first horse-riding workshop to be set up in the region. Within this new leather goods, craftsmen will make bags, small leather goods, saddles and bridles. Built on an industrial wasteland, the building covers an area of 6,200 m2. The Louviers leather goods division forms the Normandy leather goods division of Hermès with the Val-de-Reuil leather goods division.
