Ile-de-France sets the target of -20% land consumption for the decade
“Rebalance” Ile-de-France with a new scheme of “land management”. The Sdrif project (Master plan for the region), to which an -e for “environmental” has been added, was presented on April 3 by the President of the Region, Valérie Pécresse, and the Vice-President in charge of development, Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément. Endowed with a vision for the territory by 2040, it will be, affirms the regional executive, the plan of Zan (Zero net artificialisation), Zen (zero net emissions), and circular development.
However, it is not a question of applying these principles immediately. Zan, in accordance with the law, is an objective for 2050, recalls Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément. And also in accordance with the law, Ile-de-France is not bound by the halving of land consumption in the next ten years compared to the last decade, unlike the other regions of metropolitan France (excluding Corsica ). The capital region has chosen its rate of decline, and it will be -20% per ten-year period.
