In Costa Rica, two stunning minimalist villas overlook the ocean

They seem to float above the jungle and offer a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. At Costa Ricatwo adobe houses designed by thearchitect Dagmar Stepánová, founder of the Czech agency Formafatal, face Bahia Ballena, “the bay of whales”. Contemporary and minimalist, the houses were built on identical plans. This is because the materials, floor plan layout and orientation are the same. It is the colors used and the furniture that make it possible to distinguish them.
