In Saint-Denis, a future district around transformed railway halls

Not far from the Athletes’ Village, near the largest intermodal hub in the Grand Paris Express (it will bring together all the new metro lines) of Saint-Denis-Pleyel, a new district is taking shape. In this part of Seine-Saint-Denis, one of the most dynamic places in the metropolis in terms of housing construction and urban renewal, a railway derelict unused for a quarter of a century has found its project.
