Job Tourisme in 29: an itinerant dating job to support tourism and the hotel and catering industry – Le Journal des Entreprises


For several years, the observation has been the same: tourism professionals are struggling to recruit whether in season or out of season. According to the latest study by Pôle emploi on the labor needs of the Finistère employment area in 2022 for hotel and restaurant trades, out of 7,460 hiring projects in the department, 53% of these recruitments proved to be difficult and 71% of them were for seasonal positions. To support the sector, the CCIMBO has been organizing a job fair dedicated to this sector for ten years, the objective of which is to meet supply and demand.

More than a thousand vacancies

This year, the Finistère CCI is innovating with the launch of Job Tourisme en 29, an itinerant job dating aimed at promoting more than a thousand job offers. “Assistance in recruiting the skills and labor that Finistère companies need to ensure their development is the priority objective of our term of office, insists Guy Diquélou, elected tourism officer of the Finistère CCI. professions that suffer from a shortage of vocations, we have decided to imagine, with our partners, new ways of communicating with the target audiences”, he continues. From February 25 to April 5, employers in the sector (cafetiers, hoteliers, restaurateurs, managers of campsites and leisure facilities) will thus be able to meet candidates on 14 dates in 13 different locations in Finistère.
