LDLC posts declining turnover but new growth prospects – Le Journal des Entreprises


The Lyon-based distributor of computer and high-tech equipment, LDLC, recorded a 2022-2023 turnover of 567 million euros, down 17% compared to last year. The group’s management explains that the financial year was impacted by an unfavorable base effect with a high rate of high-tech household equipment and exogenous factors such as inflation or the rise in energy prices. The multi-brand distributor and major player in e-commerce nevertheless stresses that store activity has resumed for the second consecutive quarter and that in April daily invoicing did not decline compared to the previous year. The LDLC Group took advantage of this unfavorable context to consolidate its fundamentals by strengthening its reputation, its territorial network and its logistics capacities with a new center in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier. More recently, LDLC finalized the acquisition of 100% of the capital of ACTI MAC Group and its subsidiary OSI Nx. This operation allows in particular to strengthen the B to B division.
