Le Roy Logistique buys three companies in the Paris region – Le Journal des Entreprises
Already present in Garonor (Seine-Saint-Denis) or Croissy-Beaubourg (Seine-et-Marne) from previous takeoversthe Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande group Le Roy Logistique, national and international transport organizer and provider of tailor-made logistics solutions, is continuing its development in the Paris region with the acquisition, from the same seller, of businessman Marc Bachini, of three new companies: Axelis +, Speed Distribution and Team Distribution.
Proximity logistics
Specialized in the fine local logistics business for nearly 25 years in Paris and its inner suburbs, these three economic players together generate 22.2 million euros in turnover in 2022. They intervene for the B to B and B to C in the publishing, high-tech, cosmetics, fashion, luxury and health markets. With a 25,000 m² warehouse and a 2,000 m² business space, the Ivry-sur-Seine site, located 2 km from the Paris ring road, is notably a pharmaceutical warehouse (logistics for the distribution of health products). “The philosophy of this merger is to combine forces and create a positive synergy to ensure the growth planned by the “Destination 2026″ plan for the entire group, underlines Patrick Sesboüé, Managing Director of the Le Roy Logistique group and of its subsidiaries, in a press release. With companies with complementary know-how, we have a fantastic opportunity to learn from each other and benefit from strong customer relationships across a multitude of industries.” Marc Bachini, founder of the three Ile-de-France companies, will support the new managers in order to ensure business continuity and share his know-how in this particular area of fine local logistics.
250 million euros in turnover targeted in 2023
With a turnover of 196 million euros in 2022, Le Roy Logistique has experienced annual growth of 14.62%, excluding the scope of acquisition. In 2023, the Breton company aims to achieve a consolidated turnover of nearly 250 million euros, with 1,000 employees and more than 400,000 square meters of warehouse space. The takeover of Axelis +, Speed Distribution and Team Distribution is the Breton group’s third acquisition since March 2022, when several investors have joined the capital of Le Roy Logistique.
