L’Occitane participates in reforestation in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence – Le Journal des Entreprises


The group L’Occitane in Provence (9,000 employees, 1.7 billion euros in turnover in 2022), specializing in the manufacture and distribution of beauty and well-being products rich in natural ingredients, has just released 50,000 euros from its Foundation for Company for the benefit of Agir pour la Forêt (ONF* endowment fund), in order to finance the reforestation of the forests of Villeneuve and Niozelles in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, strongly impacted by the fires of the summer 2022. It was on the initiative of the management of its Manosque production site that the L’Occitane Foundation launched this operation, in collaboration with local partners (Paca Region, Local Authorities, PND des Gorges du Verdon , Luberon PNR). The sum will make it possible to reforest an area of ​​eight hectares out of the 236 hectares of damaged forest.
