Lynred announces the launch of the HEROIC project – Le Journal des Entreprises

Lynred (1000 employees, 225M€ turnover), world leader in the development and production of high quality infrared detectors for the aerospace, defense and industrial markets, announces today the launch of HEROIC, a project of the European Fund of Defense aimed at developing advanced electronic components for next-generation infrared detectors, while consolidating the supply chain of these innovative products in Europe. HEROIC (High Efficiency Read-Out Integrated Circuit) is a consortium of 10 European partners, led by Lynred. The four-year project starts in January 2023 with a budget of more than 19 million euros, including 18 million euros provided by the European Defense Fund. The CEA-Leti of Grenoble is also a member of the project.
