Manulatex releases a new product for agriculture in partnership with the Breton company Vital Concept – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire

Subsidiary of the Sarthois group manufacturer and distributor of supplies for the food industry Bobet (90 M€ turnover, 420 employees), the Anjou company Manulatex (€9.8 M turnover in 2022, 85 people), which produces personal protective equipment, has designed an innovative apron for the agricultural sector intended for dairy farmers. It is the result of an initial partnership between the Champtocé-sur-Loire company and the Breton distributor Vital Concept, an entity of winfarm group (€130.8 M turnover in 2022, 350 employees), specialist in distance selling for the agricultural world based in Loudéac (Côtes-d’Armor), which developed and tested it in its network. Designed on the basis of an existing care apron in the Manulatex range, it meets the needs of breeders when milking animals, in terms of hygiene and practicality. To be tested, 400 units were marketed in 2022 within the Vital Concept network, in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. The distribution of the product, called Juliet, has been launched in France and Europe and it will be presented in March at the CFIA in Rennes, the crossroads of suppliers to the food industry.
