Metallurgy in Brittany launches a new communication to develop its attractiveness – Le Journal des Entreprises

The Union of metallurgy industries and trades in Brittany (UIMM Côtes-d’Armor, UIMM Finistère, UIMM Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan and UIMM Bretagne) wishes to boost the attractiveness of its sectors (aeronautics, naval, mechanical, electronics…) and seduce future talents. It announces for this the launch of a new communication behind a strong idea: “Let’s manufacture tomorrow!”. With this new employer brand, the network intends to “be more visible, stronger and more impactful” with its target audiences. Metallurgy in Brittany represents nearly 60,000 employees, who work in 2,099 industrial establishments. Recruitment needs within the sector are estimated at between 6,000 and 7,000 permanent contracts on average per year. More than 20 industrial professions experience a rate of difficulty in recruiting fluctuating between 60% and 90%. This is the case for boilermakers, welders, machinists, maintenance technicians… Job forums and industrial meetings will accompany its new communication in the weeks to come.
