NCI becomes majority shareholder of Océplast – Le Journal des Entreprises
The multi-regional private equity fund NCI (headquartered in Rouen with €350 million under management) is the new majority shareholder of Océplast (Pays de la Loire), a specialist in outdoor landscaping products made from recycled PVC. The operation, carried out via NCI’s Resume & Develop 5 fund alongside Océan Participations (already a shareholder from 2014 to 2021), and the company’s two founders (Bertand Dubin and Stéphane Coutand), allows executives to enter the capital “in order to ensure the managerial sustainability of the company.” With an offer intended for industrial customers (Mobile Home cladding, carpentry, profiles), Océplast also manufactures its own ranges of top-of-the-range exterior fittings (fences, gates, gates, terraces) sold via material traders or directly to individuals or professionals (landscapers) notably through its Océwood brand. The group, which has experienced uninterrupted growth since its creation in 2002, achieved more than 23 million euros in turnover in 2022.
