Normandy lagging behind for high value-added executive jobs – Le Journal des Entreprises
Normandy had 81,200 executive jobs in high value-added functions in 2019, according to the latest INSEE Normandy study, i.e. 6.4% of jobs in the region. Considered as a factor favorable to the economic development of the territories, highly qualified and specialized jobs in sectors with high added value appear to be less numerous in Normandy than on the national average at 8.4% in metropolitan France (excluding Île-de-France) . And if the three areas of attraction of the cities of Normandy stand out, Rouen, Caen and Le Havre, none reaches the national average. Managers who are more often men in Normandy and at the national level (64%).
