Nutrisens acquires the Italian company Pharmaelle – Le Journal des Entreprises

The Nutrisens group from Lyon (500 employees; €130 million turnover in 2022), specialist in clinical nutrition and medical food, announces the acquisition of the Italian company Pharmaelle. Based in Turins, Italy, this company develops metabolic treatments for people with adrenoleukodystrophy, a rare genetic disease, and for patients undergoing obesity surgery. Thanks to this acquisition, the group is getting closer to its objective of achieving nearly 50% of its turnover outside France.
