Real estate transactions tend to fall – Le Journal des Entreprises

In Ille-et-Vilaine, the number of real estate transactions remained high in 2022. 27,543 properties were sold in the department, according to deeds registered by Notaries, an increase of +2.6%. However, the “exceptional” increase observed post-Covid tends to slow down. Indeed, in the 3rd quarter of 2022, the volume of transactions decreased (-13.2% for houses, -6.9% for old apartments and -24.2% for new apartments). At the start of 2023, the Notaries noted a gradual decline in the number of sales at the same time as a slowdown in the rise in prices.
