Soclova commits 12 million euros to an inclusive housing project in Angers – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire
Present in 13 municipalities of the Angevin conurbation, the lessor Soclova will invest 12 million euros in the transformation of the former Ehpad des Noisetiers, in the Madeleine district in Angers, into an inclusive housing complex. La Soclova will develop a project there called MixCity, bringing together seniors, students, adults with disabilities and families in a single residence. Scheduled for 2025, it will include 80 apartments, from studios to type 3, of which 46 will be dedicated to independent elderly people, 12 to students, 14 to families and 8 to people with disabilities. 60 of these dwellings will not be under HLM agreement. Led by the Angevin architecture firm Rolland & associés, the project provides, among other things, on the environmental level, for the reuse of some of the materials from the demolition and the use of low-carbon concrete for the construction of the facades.
