SPPF invests more than 10 million euros in the expansion of its production site – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire

Subsidiary of the group Bouyer-Leroux (€450 million in 2021 turnover), the Cholet-based company SPPF (Door and Closure Production Company, €58 million in turnover for the 2021-2022 financial year, 190 employees), which produces roller shutters for bay windows, is expanding its 4,400 m2 site: two buildings are planned this year and in 2024, for an investment of more than 10 million euros. Already underway, the first 2,450 m2 building will be delivered at the end of 2023. It will house a stacker crane for aluminum profiles with its machining area. Pre-equipped to receive 2,500 m2 of photovoltaic panels, its walls will be built in prefab, a prefabricated brick wall, the latest innovation from Bouyer-Leroux. The second phase of the project (1,950 m2), which will begin in 2024, will make it possible to increase the assembly area from six to seven production lines and the shipping area from two to five docks. With this expansion, SPPF, which assembles 900 shutters every day and supplies 1,500 shutters in kit form for joiner assemblers, will increase its surface area from 11,000 to 15,000 m2.
