The actors of the Building “must work as a team”, urges Alain Maugard
The writing of Batiactu has received Alain Maugardpolytechnician and engineer from Ponts et chaussées, during a Special Edition on February 9 in Paris, on the occasion of the EnerJ-Meeting 2023 exhibition, the Day of theenergetic efficiency and environmental aspects of the building. The former president of the CSTB (Scientific and Technical Center for Building) and of the qualification body Qualibat has just published “Building, a major player in societal change” with Kubik editions, in collaboration with journalist Michel Levron (see box).
The book focuses on the entire construction ecosystem, focusing in particular on the major challenges facing the sector while proposing lines of thought to better address them. Productivity, decarbonization, services, digital technology, skills: there is no shortage of subjects for an old sector which is certainly not in danger of disappearing anytime soon in the economic landscape, but whose various players are more than ever called upon to join forces.
