The Angevin group Brangeon takes over the Carquefou company Ecosys – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire

Specialized in transport, logistics, collection, recovery and recycling, the Angevin group Brangeon (235 M€ turnover 2022, 1,300 employees), located in Mauges-sur-Loire, was chosen by the Commercial Court of Nantes (Loire-Atlantique), which validated the offer to take over the company of Carquefou Ecosys, recently placed in receivership. This takeover is accompanied by the creation of a new entity, Brangeon Ecoservices. Founded in 1993, Ecosys (15 M€ turnover, 82 employees) specializes in the recovery of green waste by composting and in products from wood recycling. The Brangeon Group, which already has more than 50 sites between Le Havre (Seine-Maritime) and Bordeaux (Gironde), is strengthening its territorial network with the 13 Ecosys sites and its organic matter management activities. “Our ambition is to develop our activities in the organic sector, which we already carry out on our 5 composting platforms, indicates Victor Brangeon, managing director of the Angevin group, by backing it up with the know-how of the Ecosys teams. “
