The Angevin software publisher Octave taken over by the Canadian Valsoft – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire


Software publisher specialized in the digitization of businesses and integrator for medium-sized distribution networks (between 5 and 500 M€ turnover), Angevin Octave was acquired by the Quebec company Valsoft Corporation Inc, based in Montreal. Valsoft (CA NC, more than 2000 employees) ) is the Canadian leader in the acquisition and operation of software companies for vertical markets. By relying among others on Aspire, the European subsidiary of Valsoft Corporation, Octave (6 M€ turnover, 100 people), created in 1996 and which collaborates with more than 200 customers, should be able to strengthen its presence on the European market and expand internationally. Co-founder of Octave with his brother Christophe and also president of the Angers French Tech cooperative, Michael Perrinet, takes over the general management of the company. With the takeover of Octave, Valsoft is making its 68th acquisition and the first major one in France.
