The Blondel Group buys the family business Sobotram – Le Journal des Entreprises

The logistics group Blondel, based in Saint-Quentin in the Aisne, announces the acquisition of the company Sobotram (31 M€ of turnover 2021, around 200 employees), located in Crissey in Saône-et-Loire. This operation, accompanied by Bpifrance, Crédit Mutuel Equity, Picardie Investissement and Capitem Partenaires, enables the Picard group to immediately reach its objective of 300 million euros in turnover, initially planned for 2025. 3,000 employees are involved throughout the transport and logistics value chain. Its customers are among the big names in aeronautics, cosmetics, defence, industry, agrifood, and even mass distribution. The acquisition of the Sobotram family group enables the Blondel Group to strengthen its expertise in the operation of high-threshold Seveso-classified warehouses and in messaging.
