The Bodemer automotive group expands in the Great West – Le Journal des Entreprises

The Bodemer automotive group, based in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d’Armor), distributor of the Renault, Dacia, Nissan and Alpine brands, is carrying out two external growth operations in Calvados and Finistère. The family business, headed by Alain Daher, will acquire the Caen and Brest branches hitherto operated by Renault Retail Group, a 100% subsidiary of the manufacturer of the diamond brand. “In a landscape of automotive distribution in full concentration and restructuring, these acquisitions strengthen both our partnership with Renault but also our critical size to weigh in this new sectoral environment”, specifies Alain Daher. In Calvados, the Caen dealership offers the Renault and Dacia brands and employs 164 people for a turnover of 107 million euros in 2022. In Brest, the Bodemer group acquires a Renault site, a Dacia dealership and a dedicated business to used cars. The whole represents a turnover of 69 million euros in 2022 for 97 employees.
