The carrier Jolival strengthens its environmental commitment – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire
The family business Jolival, established for 75 years in La Pommeraye and specialized in transport and logistics, has been working for more than ten years to reduce its environmental footprint in 5 areas: the renewal of its fleet of Euro standard vehicles 6 or in Bio CNG (compressed natural gas), investment in vehicles to reduce consumption, training of drivers in eco-driving, reduction of empty kilometers and participation in the shareholding of the future gas station of La Pommeraye, which will open in March 2023. For this commitment, the company (21.2 M€ turnover in 2021, 190 employees) recently obtained the Objective CO2 label, awarded for three years by a regional committee bringing together representatives of the Ministry ecological transition, Ademe and professional organisations. Jolival continues to accelerate in this area and plans to reach 100% Euro 6 vehicles within 1 year and 15% biogas vehicles within 3 years.
