The cement group Vicat implements its low-carbon concrete for Léon Grosse – Le Journal des Entreprises

Inventor of Carat, a carbon-negative binder that makes it possible to obtain very low-carbon concretes, the Isère-based cement group Vicat (9,500 employees worldwide; €3.64 billion in turnover in 2022) is experimenting for the first time with its performance at large scale as part of the construction of the regional office of the construction group Léon Grosse, located in Bron (69). The Rhone project of ETI de la construction, located in Aix-les-Bains (Savoie), uses nearly 850 m3 of concrete. Carat allows a reduction of almost 90% of the carbon footprint per m3 of concrete
