The Chinese group GDAT orders 50 helicopters from Airbus Helicopters – Le Journal des Entreprises


On the occasion of the President of the Republic’s visit to China, Airbus Helicopters (turnover: more than 4 billion euros), based in Marignane (13) signed a contract with GDAT, one of the largest lessors and helicopter operators in China. The contract is for 50 H160 helicopters and is the largest order for the H160 on the civil and parapublic market since the unveiling of the helicopter in 2015. The aircraft will be used in particular for the energy sector, port pilotage, as well as as emergency medical services and other municipal public service missions. The two companies have also signed a strategic cooperation agreement to maintain the H160. Today, more than 300 Airbus helicopters fly over China and serve more than 90 customers.
