The creditors of Walor International accept the terms of takeover proposed by Mutares – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire


Following on from obtaining an exclusive negotiation period, the German investment company Mutares has received the agreement of the creditors of Walor International to proceed with the acquisition of the company according to the proposed terms, Mutares reported on April 4. The conclusion of the transaction is expected during the second quarter of 2023, the completion of the operation remains subject to the consultation procedures of the employee representative bodies and to the authorization of the competition authorities of the European Union. From its head office in Laval, in Mayenne, Walor International employs nearly 1,200 people and generated 230 million euros in turnover in 2023. This automotive subcontractor is a European leader in the manufacture of steel parts forged and machined. It has eleven industrial sites around the world: in France, but also in Germany, Romania, Mexico and China.
