The Dutch VDL Bus & Coach transfers its French headquarters to Lesquin – Le Journal des Entreprises

VDL Bus & Coach, a subsidiary of the Dutch family group VDL (5 billion euros in turnover, 15,000 employees) specializing in the development, production, sale and after-sales service of buses and coaches, in particular electric, announces the transfer of its French headquarters from Ile-de-France to Lesquin, near Lille. A way to get closer to the group’s headquarters, located in Eindhoven, as well as its Belgian factory, in Roeselare. The company will therefore set up its twenty employees on a new site of 1,500 m². It is also preparing to recruit a dozen new employees locally, with the help of Nord France Invest. VDL already has another subsidiary in Hauts-de-France, Klima, which in Villeneuve d’Ascq designs and markets heat exchangers for industrial applications. The two companies should be joined by a third, VDL Mast solution, specializing in urban equipment.
