The farmers of the Compagnie des Amandes create a Producers’ Organization – Le Journal des Entreprises

The farmers associated with the young Almond Company (Aix-en-Provence) announce their grouping around an organization of producers, constituted in the form of a simplified joint-stock company and baptized “Amandiers de France”. It brings together the first farming companies of associated farmers on more than 200 hectares, located in Aude, Vaucluse and Hérault, as well as the casserie that will see the light of day in Signes in the Var. Farmers undertake to bring their entire harvest to this PO, and are the only decision-makers to manage the Operational Program. The organization will be chaired by Laurent Ratia, arborist in Sallèles d’Aude, and its creation marks an important and essential step in developing the almond sector in France, the primary mission of the Compagnie des Amandes, founded in 2018, by Arnaud Montebourg and François Moulias.
