The Hérault electronics engineer Edgeflex joins the Alsatian group Alliance Electronics – Le Journal des Entreprises
Designer and manufacturer of electronic products and connected objects, the company edgeflex (25 employees, 2022 turnover: €5.5 million), based in Montpellier, is acquired by the Alsatian group Alliance Electronics (850 employees, forecast turnover 2023: 120 M€), specialized in electronic subcontracting. This operation is part of Alliance Electronics’ strategy to become a leader in the manufacture of electronic products by acquiring and consolidating a dozen European companies, such as the Belgian SME ACE Electronics, acquired last October. Edgeflex thus becomes the eighth company to join the Alsatian group: its manager, Jérôme Pasquet, becomes on this occasion a minority shareholder of Alliance Electronics. With this support, Edgeflex aims to continue its development in Europe, where it already sells in six countries, while integrating new facilities, with a surface area of 1,300 m2the construction of which is nearing completion.
