The Icape group acquires the Sarthe-based Fimor Electronics, distributor of custom-made technical parts – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire
The Icape group, worldwide technological distributor of printed circuit boards (PCB), announced on February 15 the acquisition of 100% of the capital of the company Fimor Electronics, based in Le Mans. A 100% subsidiary of the Sarthois group Fimor, Fimor Electronics specializes in the trading of made-to-measure technical parts, an activity which represents 80% of its turnover. The company also has a factory specializing in the manufacture of human-machine interface solutions, constituting the second activity of the company and generating 20% of its annual turnover, which amounted to more than 6, 2 million euros in 2021. Fimor has two sites in France (Le Mans and Seynod in Savoie), employing a total of 20 employees, as well as an office in China with 5 people. As of December 31, 2022, the Icape group achieved consolidated revenue of nearly €220 million. The trading activity of Fimor Electronics should eventually integrate the Cipem France entity of the Icape group and the plant will evolve under the IHM brand.
