The Jean Rouyer Automobiles group exceeded one billion euros in turnover in 2023 – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire
The Cholet group Jean Rouyer Automobiles saw its turnover increase from 850 million euros in 2021 to 1.1 billion euros in 2022, the year during which it sold 45,605 vehicles, including 23,413 new and 22,192 second hand. Launched in 1982 with the acquisition of a first Renault dealership in Cholet, the Jean Rouyer Automobiles group now employs 1,800 people at 62 sites representing 14 manufacturer brands. Since April 2022, it has been distributing a new brand, Cupra in La Roche-sur-Yon (Vendée) and Trignac (Loire-Atlantique) and also opened the Alpine center in Nantes last September. The Cholet group also acquired Renault Angers in July 2022. The Renault and Dacia license plate represents 24,000 new and used vehicles per year for the group, to which are added the 4,600 vehicles from Renault Angers and its network of agents. Since January 1, 2023, Jean Rouyer Automobiles has also strengthened its governance by appointing Jérôme Moinard, who has joined the company as Chairman of the Management Board.
