The Polyvia professional union plans 1,200 hires for the plastics industry in Occitanie – Le Journal des Entreprises

polyvia (120 members), the union of plastics and composites companies, is getting underway for the national sector, which is planning 18,000 recruitments in France in the coming year. According to its regional entity Polyvia Occitanie, the potential for new jobs in the region amounts to 1,200, mainly on permanent contracts, all positions and levels combined. Organized in conjunction with Pôle Emploi, two information days, scheduled for February 13 and 14, will be held in Nîmes (Gard) to raise awareness of the plastics industry trades and training opportunities. Polyvia Formation, Polyvia’s dedicated entity, relies on three initial training sites (Lyon, Alençon, Le Bourget), to which is added the Rosa Luxemburg high school in Canet-en-Roussillon (Pyrénées-Orientales): The establishment delivers the “Europlastics and composites” BTS from Polyvia Formation, and trains between 20 and 24 apprentices each year.
