Ikea de La Madeleine is moving
Swedish furniture giant Ikea plans to “relocate“his store in the La Madeleine district within the shopping center, which would open in 2024.”With a potential commercial area of approximately 5,800m³, this new point of contact would make it possible to offer more take-out assortments“, explains Ikea. “100% of La Madeleine jobs [soient 200 personnes à ce jour] will be maintained and transferred to this new site“said Emma Recco, director of business development strategy for Ikea France, during a press briefing.
The group considers that the Place d’Italie district has “a lot of potential and excellent accessibility, both by car and by transport“. In addition, the commercial complex has logistical infrastructure, in particular delivery docks which could allow “much smoother operations“.
As for the Apollo office complex, this will be renovated and “will offer approximately 18,000 m² of state-of-the-art office space spread over nine levels, with outdoor and rooftop dining spaces, as well as social spaces, terraces and even urban agriculture areas that are expected to support cafeterias and restaurants“, detailed Ingka Centers.
