the solar sector welcomes the “responsiveness” of the government
1.5 GW on the ground and 800 MW on the roof: this is the scope of the call for tenders which will be launched next June, welcome in a joint press release the Renewable Energy Syndicate (SER) and Enerplan. They also salute the “reactivity” government on this issue. “This is a record volume which should make it possible to more than compensate for the failure rate of the previous session”assure the two organizations.
The entities emphasize that the last period of calls for tenders was marked by “very high failure rates”due to the “modification of the specifications”. It is to react to this state of affairs that the government has announced the launch of these additional sessions from June 2023. “These sectors not only need visibility, but also ambition, at a time when discussions on our energy future are entering a pivotal sequence”, comments Jules Nyssen, President of the SER. This decision allows an exit from the top, welcomes his side Daniel Bour, at the head of Enerplan. “The sector also takes it as a commitment to the success of the acceleration law and the future energy-climate law.”
