The Swiss-Swiss start-up SpacePharma chooses Strasbourg for its European headquarters – Le Journal des Entreprises
Carry out tests in space using mini-laboratories on board satellites. This is the challenge taken up by the start-up SpacePharma. And this development will soon be able to benefit the Alsatian ecosystem. The company, founded in 2012 by Swiss and Israeli researchers, announces that it has chosen the Strasbourg region to set up its European headquarters there. The start-up, supported by Grand E-nov +, Adira and Biovalley France, recognizes an environment conducive to its international development. She thus joined the incubator dedicated to space at the International Space University in Illkirch-Graffenstaden. According to a press release, “a dozen highly qualified jobs should be created over the next three years on this new site”. SpacePharma is aimed at the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, medical research, food technology and materials science sectors. SpacePharma is also planning a second location in Nice – Sophia Antipolis with a focus on regenerative medicine.
